Our pick: the ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 PRO Omni, because at $549.00 on Amazon.com (checked October 27, 2026) it beats the Roborock Qrevo Edge S5A on obstacle avoidance (23 of 24 objects vs 6 of 24), pet hair and mopping in Vacuum Wars’ tests, costs less, and is sold by Amazon.com with a 4.4/5 rating from 590 ratings.

The short answer: for most US homes, get the ECOVACS DEEBOT T90 PRO Omni ($549.00 on Amazon.com, October 27, 2026): a self-washing roller mop, 30,000 Pa and near-perfect obstacle avoidance. Get a Roborock if your floors are mostly carpet: the Qrevo Edge S5A ($659.99) scored 96% on Vacuum Wars’ carpet deep-clean test.

Roborock and ECOVACS are the two brands most Americans shortlist for a robot vacuum and mop combo with a do-it-all dock. Both are sold on Amazon.com, both wash their mops with hot water, and both have a model at almost exactly $549. This duel is part of our robot vacuum brand comparisons.

Roborock vs ECOVACS: which one for your budget?

Both Chinese brands sell full-station robots that empty their own bin, wash their mops with hot water and dry them. On Amazon.com, ECOVACS sells its stations through Amazon itself; Roborock sells through its own Amazon storefront. Here are the three robots we’d buy today, prices and ratings checked on Amazon.com on October 27, 2026.

Set on Roborock and a dock that washes the mops? The Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro is $549.98 (4.0/5 from 189 ratings, sold by Roborock), and the carpet specialist Roborock Qrevo Edge S5A is $659.99 (4.0/5 from 532 ratings, sold by Roborock, only 10 left on October 27). The S5A is the one to get for wall-to-wall carpet.

Bottom line: the ECOVACS wins on price, seller, obstacles, pet hair and mopping; the Roborock wins on deep carpet cleaning. If your home is mostly hardwood, tile or vinyl with a few rugs, the T90 PRO Omni is the better robot for less money. Weighing Dreame instead? Read our Dreame vs ECOVACS comparison.

What the spec sheets don’t tell you

Cross-checking the Amazon.com listings, the ECOVACS US spec pages and Vacuum Wars’ measurements, three points stand out that none of these sources makes on its own.

  • At $549, the two brands make opposite bets. The Roborock Qrevo 2 Pro ($549.98) and the ECOVACS T90 PRO Omni ($549.00) cost the same within a dollar. Roborock spends it on two spinning pads washed at 149°F (65 °C) and 20,000 Pa; ECOVACS on a self-washing roller washed at up to 167°F (75 °C) and 30,000 Pa. If mopping matters to you, the roller is the bigger upgrade.
  • You pay Roborock’s premium for carpet, not for the dock. The Qrevo Edge S5A costs about $111 more than the T90 PRO Omni. What that buys is the 96% carpet deep-clean score, tied with the best on Vacuum Wars’ bench, not a better station: both wash mops at up to 167°F and dry them with hot air.
  • Trust the maker’s page over the listing title. The S5A’s Amazon.com title says 18,500 Pa, while Roborock’s launch announcement, as reported by Notebookcheck, gave 17,000 Pa. Vacuum Wars measured below-average suction and still recorded 96% on carpet: the brush design matters more than the Pa number.

What if you don’t want either?

Two other robots we’d consider, prices checked on Amazon.com on October 27, 2026:

  • Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2, $379.87 (4.1/5 from 980 ratings, sold by Woot, an Amazon company): the cheapest full station in this roundup, with mop washing, warm-air drying and 75 days of auto-emptying. Our Roborock vs Dreame guide covers the brand. See the Dreame L10s Ultra Gen 2.
  • iRobot Roomba 105 Combo with AutoEmpty Dock, $299.00 (4.0/5 from 5,827 ratings, sold by Amazon.com): LiDAR mapping and a dock that empties itself for up to 75 days. See our Roomba vs Roborock comparison. See the Roomba 105 Combo.

Who should skip each one

  • Skip the Qrevo Edge S5A if your floor is cluttered: it avoided only 6 of 24 objects in Vacuum Wars’ test, so pick up socks and cables first.
  • Skip the T90 PRO Omni if you need it this week: on October 27, Amazon.com listed it as shipping in 7 to 10 days. The T50 PRO Omni was in stock.
  • Skip the Q7 M5+ if you want mopping without effort: its dock empties the bin but doesn’t wash the mop pad.

How Aspi picks

Aspi, the RobotAspirateurs robot mascot

Method: we did not test these robots ourselves. This comparison cross-checks manufacturer specs, Vacuum Wars’ published measurements, Amazon.com customer ratings and the Amazon.com listings (price, seller, availability), all checked on October 27, 2026. Aspi keeps three criteria: a robot you can actually buy today, its rating across hundreds of reviews, and what it gives you for the money.
